Proprietary Drug-Development Platform for Multi-Indication Drug Generation

Built on a proprietary carbohydrate-derived heteropolymer platform incorporating bioactive coordination complexes, with safety and biological activity demonstrated across our successful prior therapeutic development programs and human studies, Elaphron therapies are designed to act locally within the gastrointestinal tract with minimal systemic exposure.

The platform incorporates compounds selected in part for their established safety profiles and limited systemic absorption. Together with prior human experience, these characteristics may reduce development risk and support a potentially streamlined regulatory strategy, including the ability to rely on elements of the 505(b)(2) pathway where applicable.

Taken orally, the platform forms a transient, non-absorbable intestinal coating that self-eliminates within hours. Through incorporated bioactive complexes and tunable physicochemical properties, this interface can be engineered to modulate nutrient absorption, receptor and ion-channel activity, gut-derived hormonal and immune signaling, microbiota interactions, or provide epithelial protection.

By directing activity to specific regions of the GI tract, the platform enables differentiated therapeutic candidates across metabolic, inflammatory, functional, and secretory gastrointestinal diseases.
